1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the HiddenDoor Quest website and services located at 27 Secret Ave, Perth WA 6000, Australia, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing our services. The materials and experiences provided by HiddenDoor Quest are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

2. Booking and Reservations

All bookings must be made through our official website, phone, or email. A valid booking confirmation is required for entry to any escape room experience. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule bookings with at least 24 hours notice. Customers may cancel or reschedule bookings up to 48 hours before the scheduled time without penalty. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled time may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the booking cost.

Group sizes must adhere to the minimum and maximum player requirements specified for each room. We reserve the right to refuse service if group size requirements are not met or if safety concerns arise.

3. Payment Terms

Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise arranged. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as displayed on our website. All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Promotional codes and discounts cannot be combined unless explicitly stated and are subject to availability and expiration dates.

Refunds for cancelled experiences will be processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method. Corporate accounts may arrange alternative payment terms by contacting our administration team directly.

4. Age Requirements and Supervision

Participants under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or older) at all times during the escape room experience. Some rooms may have higher age restrictions due to content or difficulty level, which will be clearly indicated in the room descriptions. Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that minors comply with all rules and safety requirements.

We reserve the right to refuse entry to participants who do not meet age requirements or who are not accompanied by appropriate supervision when required.

5. Safety and Conduct

The safety of our guests is our highest priority. All participants must follow the safety instructions provided by our Game Masters before and during the experience. Participants must not use excessive force on any props, locks, or set pieces. Intentional damage to our facilities or equipment will result in charges for repairs or replacement.

We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate without refund. This includes but is not limited to: intoxication, aggressive behavior, failure to follow Game Master instructions, or any conduct that diminishes the experience for other participants.

Participants with medical conditions (including claustrophobia, heart conditions, or mobility issues) should inform staff before beginning the experience. Emergency exits are available in all rooms and can be used at any time.

6. Photography and Recording

Photography and video recording are prohibited inside escape rooms to preserve the mystery for future players and protect our intellectual property. HiddenDoor Quest may take photographs or videos for promotional purposes. By participating, you grant us permission to use such media in our marketing materials unless you explicitly opt out in writing before your experience.

Photo opportunities are available in designated areas before and after your escape room experience.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, puzzles, storylines, designs, graphics, and materials used in HiddenDoor Quest experiences are the exclusive intellectual property of HiddenDoor Quest or our licensors. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of any aspect of our escape rooms is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

Players agree not to share solutions, puzzle details, or plot points publicly (including on social media, review sites, or blogs) in ways that would spoil the experience for future participants.

8. Liability and Assumption of Risk

Participants acknowledge that escape room experiences involve physical and mental challenges and assume all risks associated with participation. HiddenDoor Quest, its owners, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation in our experiences except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

We maintain comprehensive insurance coverage and take all reasonable precautions to ensure participant safety. However, participants are responsible for their own actions and must exercise reasonable care during the experience.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

Gift certificates and promotional vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified. They are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced. Vouchers must be presented at the time of booking and cannot be applied retroactively.

11. Force Majeure

HiddenDoor Quest shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, power failures, or other unforeseen events. In such cases, we will work with affected customers to reschedule experiences or provide refunds as appropriate.
